The sheep that jumped over the fence and went moo

This was my first amigurumi project and I love it to pieces. I started this one as soon as I learnt the bobble stitch and hence the fluffy big cow-like body for the sheep. By the end, I actually liked him nice big and fat.

Head

Round 1: Magic circle, Ch 1, 8 sc into the ring(do not join) (8)

Round 2: 2 sc in each st around (16)

Round 3:( 2 sc in the first st, sc in the next ) * around (24)

Round 4: sc in each st around (24)

Round 5: ”

Round 6: ”

Round 7: ”

Round 8: ”

Round 9: ”

Round 10: (sc2tog, sc in the next) * around (16)

Round 11: sc in each st around (16)

Stuff the head with a material of your choice. Join in the yarn of same colour as the body.

Round 12: ( 1 sc, puff stitch) * 8 times (16)

Round 13: (sc2tog) * 8 times (8)

Round 14: ( 1 sc, puff stitch) * 4 times(8)

Sl st and finish off. Tighten the opening and tuck the ends back into the head.

Ears

Round 1: Magic circle, Ch 1, 5 sc. (5)

Round 2: 2 sc in each. (10)

Round 3: 1sc, sc2tog, 1sc, sc2tog, 1sc, sc2tog, 1sc. (7)

Round 4: 1sc in each. (7)

Round 5: 1sc, sc2tog, 1sc, sc2tog, 1sc. (5)

Sl st and finish off. Leave a long tail at the end to sew it to the head.

Legs

Round 1: Magic circle, ch 1, 6 sc into the ring (6)

Round 2: 2 sc in each st around (12)

Round 3: ( 1 sc, 2sc in the next st) * around (18)

Round 4: 1 sc in each around (18)

Round 5: ”

Round 6: ”

Round 7: sc2tog 4 times, 1 sc in the next 10 st (14)

Round 8: sc2tog 5 times, 1 sc in the last 4 st (9)

Stuff the feet as much as it can hold, you don’t have to stuff the rest of the legs.

Round 9: 1 sc in each (9)

Round 10: ”

Round 11: ”

Round 12: ”

Round 13: ”

Sl st and join in the yarn of the color used for the body.

Round 14: 1 sc (1 puff stitch, 1 sc) * 4times

Sl st and finish off. Leave a long tail to sew it to the body.

Make four of those limbs.
