Beagle/ Dog Amigurumi – Part 2 (Body, Arms & Tail)

Now that you’ve got your head you’d be more than excited to be done with its body and arms.

Beagle Amigurumi

Yarn : Brown & White Acrylic yarn
Hook : 2.5mm
Note: Work in continuous rounds, do not join.

Body:
Starting with the white coloured yarn,
Round 1: Magic Circle, 6sc into the circle & then pull it close. (6)
Round 2: 2sc in each sc around. (12)
Round 3: [sc in the sc, 2sc in the next sc] * 6 times. (18)
Round 4: [sc in the next 2sc, 2sc in the next sc] * 6 times. (24)
Round 5: [sc in the next 3sc, 2sc in the next sc] * 6 times. (30)
Round 6: [sc in the next 4sc, 2sc in the next sc] * 6 times. (36)
Round 7: [sc in the next 5sc, 2sc in the next sc] * 6 times. (42)
I’m still working in rounds but I am alternating between the two yarns so that I have different colors for the front and back of my beagle. Also I haven’t cut off the the yarn after the color change in each round, I’ve just let it stay inside the body of the dog.
Round 8:

Now starting with the brown colored yarn, also tweak this part of the pattern depending on whether it is the left leg or right leg.

Arms:
Starting with a white colored yarn,

Round 1: Magic Circle, 6sc into the circle & then pull it close. (6)

Now join the arms and legs to the body. And for the tail I would suggest, do your thing my friend. (I haven’t written down what I did with its tail and I’m sure you can work it out).

Haha! Look at him feeling ticklish, I would hate to part ways with him but I’m happy to be sending it to my friend.

Also, I feel like his tummy looks a bit bigger, if you want to modify you better make changer to this guy.

    I think she means that you continue the SC for those rounds. I did my thing for this guy. First animal I’ve made with limbs. Dang, attaching limbs is tough. I love him though. Currently trying to work out the tail.
